The rAge 2011 gaming expo is around the corner.

Courtesy of Tide Media, MyGaming has 7 sets of 2 tickets to give away to the MyGaming community.

Tickets are valid for one day of the expo.

To be clear, these tickets are to attend the floor expo, and not the NAG LAN @ rAge event.

The rAge expo takes place over the weekend of 30 September to 2 October at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg.

If you will not be able to attend the event, please refrain from entering the competition.

How to enter

- Post a short paragraph in this thread explaining why you want to attend the rAge 2011 expo.

- Post only once in this thread. Spamming or conversing in the thread gets you disqualified.

- Must be a resident of South Africa and able to attend the expo on the above-mentioned dates.

Winner announce

- The seven winners will be randomly selected on Tuesday, 20 September 2011, at 1PM. Entry also closes at this time.

- Prizes not claimed within 24 hours will be reallocated to a new random draw winner (due to the nearing expo date).

- The winners will be announced in this thread. Be sure to check back to claim your prize.

I have always wanted to go to the rage expo, but was always busy but this time I am free over those days so would be cool to go to the Rage Expo to meet all the people on the forums and Mybb forums. I also would love to see the new games & the cutting edge technology which is going to be available.
 
The rAge expo is something that I need to tick of my to-do list. I would have gone with a few friends last year but because of some unforeseen circumstances we were not able to go. I want to go to play all the latest games and view the lastest hardware. There are usually some nice specials on hardware too.
 
I would like to win so that I can build an MyG group to take with to the Expo before the M&G braai on the Sat!! enuf said. :)

I've been a gamer all my life. Mainly a PS Fanatic but i stopped playing PS when PS3 came out because it was ridiculously priced for me at the time. Anyhoo, I finally got a PS3 and cant wait to get my hands on all the PS3 content that rAge has to offer!!!! P.S. Looking forward to the PC stuff too!!!
 
I already put in leave for that Friday. My plan is to watch the South Africa vs Samoa game and afterwards go to rAge. Or if they'll be showing the rugby at rAge then I'll watch it there. I try to go to rAge every year but missed the last one so I hope to catch up. The reason for going? I love gaming so how can I miss a gaming expo?

I'll be wearing my MyGaming cap and the Mass Effect N7 shirt that I got from Inevitability if anyone sees me there and want to say hi. :)
 
Just the sheer amount of games that are coming out these few months would attract anyone to the expo! I'm hoping games like CoD MW3, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, A's C Revelations or Skyrim will be there just for us loyal fans to embrace as well as many unexpected surprises in store for attendants, not to mention the free stuff that is given out! Rage is an epic event and I would love to have a chance to go this year and maybe meet some fellow forumites from MyGaming as well!

I want to attend Rage 2011 because I havn't attended one before. I'm a computer geek and I will be in heaven there. Every year I always have something going on on the Rage dates but this year I'm free during Rage weekend. I look forward to checking out the new games, new technologies, the atmosphere and the HOT babes!! ;)
 
I've finally got the rAge weekend free this year (not just half a day) so I'm really looking forward to just spending the whole day (or more) checking out games and being blown away by the new stuff coming in. The best part is discovering awesome games that I never knew of before, finding and playing Vanquish until the stand closed was a highlight for me last year. Most importantly I'm not going to bitch and moan if there's not as many games as I thought, or if any particular game isn't there, I'm just going to immerse myself in the experience and enjoy it for what it is.
 
I'll be driving up from KZN for the RAGE expo this year. I used to attend when I studied at WITS but have not been going since I moved back to KZN (2007). Scoring some tickets means less damage to the ol' wallet given the costs involved getting to the venue in the first place.

I want to go to Rage because it is exciting enough to drag me away from my pc and i might even go in the sunlight :D
 
I want to attend the 2011 Rage Expo cause it's only THE most awesome gaming expo in the southern hemisphere!! It's been a few years since I was last there and it's the perfect opportunity to get discounted gear to upgrade with in preperation for BF3 and Skyrim.
And cause I'm cool like that :)
 
I hate Rage, and I don't want to go the most awesome event in South Africa. Mygaming is horrible and I don't have your link up in my favourites toolbar. James E Smith and Nic Simmonds are the most horrible writers in South Africa not to mention Tarryn van der Byl... Also what does Derrick Cramer know about PC hardware anyway? ... :)

Keen to attend Rage this year to see the latest titles on show, I am looking forward to any international titles that may be on display like last year (Guild Wars 2!). Also to meet up with a few friends who are driving across country and going to the LAN event. Super keen for Rage as always, noticed alot more family's going to rage which is awesome. Hope to be there ^^
 
i would like to attend rage, well cause it's rage; and there always more than enough awesome stands with products most of can only dream of buying, booth babes, gaming demos, freebies and great specials etc...

...oh and maybe there will be booth where i can show my dance skills on xbox kinect *dreams on*
 
Through all the humble years of my life I've been an avid gamer. I've been reading up about technology and gaming in general pretty regularly throughout the past few years and have always kept up to date with the latest happenings in the tech world. And as usual...every year I hear all too often about the rAge expo. It's always been a dream of mine to go to one of these expo's as I don't really get a chance to get around the country anyway. I've always been interested in seeing what it's like at an expo such as this. I've heard many great things about it and have wished that I myself could also experience it.
 
i would love to go to rage again this year. last year it was my first time and i enjoyed it alot.
it was so awesome to see all the new tech and having a chance to try it out. and there are parts where
it feels that the game comes alive. i hope this year will be bigger and better. i cant wait for rage 2011

OMG!!! to win the tickets would be one of those moments where the heavens open up with a bright beam of light shining on me. God would come forth out of the shroud and say "you deserve it my boy"... ok exaggeration much but still. the R@ge event has always been one of "those" events that i wait around all year to only hear about how AWESOME it was... i have never had the money to just decide to go. i live in east london :cry: please let me have the tickets i would fly up, get to the event, Jizz in my pants, clean up and then... Awesomeness!
please R@GE is a dream of mine and besides its my birthday on sep 16... think of it as a belated birthday present.
