Hell yeah. Godfather (more active in the comic book section) will also be there. Really amped, got my MyG Swag sorted. See you all there.
 
I'm gonna try... they are building here at my house this week and if they are finished by Saturday, I'll be there Saturday. I'll wear my MyG cap, but the shirt is a bit of a "slim fit"... and I'm not currently that "slim" :(

so much of EXCITE! I'm flying up on Thursday and I know the rest of the weekend will be a blur from Thursday night onwards! Can't freaking wait, gonna be wicked with a crowd of 14 odd peeps from our clan and others! So EPIC! This is usually an annual pilgrimage we make but I've been unable due to work for the past two year! So now is mah time!
 
Can't wait for it, hopefully I will see some guys from here there, provided I'm not killing templars.

I met TheAvenged87 at rAge on SAturday. Unfortunately I didn't notice anybody else wearing their MyGaming t-shirts though.

The rAge experience was mind-blowingly wonderful. Just two things kept it from perfection in my opinion: heavy network traffic made card transaction very difficult if not impossible, and probably cost some vendors a good many sales. I also thought that the major booths could have been better signposted, and/or a floor plan might have been included in the goody-bag.

Well worth the flight from East London.
 
So much for my plan to get a new case, card got rejected so I'm gonna have to wait.

Like the floor plan idea since the included some useless stuff in that bag, like a razer.
 
Card machines not working was a massive issue for all vendors. Syco even lost out on buying a CPU and RAM due to this issue.
 
I think I'm with Prophet on this one... Rage was not for me. It basically combined the two things I usually try to avoid: Heavy traffic and queues while constantly bumping into people (and I mean that literally, not as in "Hey, long time, no see...")
It might have been my timing though... I went on Saturday and probably arrived around 11:00-12:00... Someone mentioned in another thread that around that time it was crazy hectic... so if I decide to go next year to give it another try, I'll try to determine up front which would be the "quietest" time to try and attend.

It wasn't all bad though... I did get to see some demo gameplay of the new Hitman, Tomb Raider, AC3 and then some XCom game which I've heard of before here on the forum, but now has my attention. I'll download the demo as soon as I have time. Other than that I got a charging dock for all my PS3 controllers, 2 2nd hand games and a R75 kalahari voucher towards the new Hitman pre-order. Then I also got to see some of the finals of the entellect lightcycles competition which was kinda interesting.

A lot of the specials didn't really feel that "special" to me though. Oh, and Telkom tried to woo me with a 24 month ADSL contract (unsuccessfully though)... That reminds me. I got a 5Gb prepaid ADSL voucher at the entrance. Anybody want it? I'm on an uncapped package so don't really need it.
