BioShock 2 - Great Graphics and Game play, pretty weak story line. 7.5 / 10
Starcraft 2 - GREAT on all fronts. 9.5/10

Mass Effect 2 - 10/10

Best game I have ever played.

Did the lack of weapon/armor choices (which was abundant in ME1) and the constant planet scanning not put you off even a little?

EDIT: But yeah, I finished it as well and it's epically amazing.

Worms Reloaded - 8/10

Emphatic Worms style, classically hilarious, excellent STEAM integration. And @ $20, a steal!

Civilization IV - 9.0

These days Civ IV Complete is so cheap that everyone should get it. It's got hours and hours of gameplay and there's nothing quite like it.

Yeah I play a lot of Civ4 and I was an idiot but 3 years ago when I bought it the game was R400, also noticed that Mass Effect 2 is now only R99 for the PC sigh, I rushed out and bought it on release and still haven't gotten to it, due to having to restart 1.
Oh the last game I played Uncharted 2, brilliant

Dragon Quest IX for Nintendo DSi - AMAZING, albeit a cliche JRPG. However, the addictive gameplay more than keeps this game afloat, and the visuals are astounding for the DS!

I am usually very strict on my rating policy, but this game deserves a:
9 / 10
Just because it offers so much game in such a small cartridge.

JRPG lovers do yourself a favour and go buy a DS now!!

mass effect - 9/10
uncharted 2 - 10/10, probably the best game I've ever played.
dragon age - 9/10
Star wars TFU - 8/10
Colin Mcrae dirt 2 - 7.5/10
Crysis warhead - 8/10

MGS4 - 8/10 up there with uncharted and gow3 as PS3 exclusives! Top game! Cant wait for MGS Rising...Raiden is gonna be EPIC!

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Singleplayer - 65%

Captivating story, but thats it. The gameplay is just horrid for a tactical shooter, there are millions of tiny things that are just wrong and poorly thought out. Enemy AI is too cowardly, friendly AI is too dumb, weapon selection is a bitch, the UI is sompletely nackered and I just go on and on. If the multiplayer is even a tiny bit like this aswell, I think I'll stay far, FAR away.

Dude you are so wrong. Bc2 I had no problems with selecting guns. And can your pc even run it properly? The multiplayer rocks and have kept me busy for 72 hours(would be more but cap is a problem for me)

The single play was fun.

Mass Effect
98/100

The good stuff:
Just about everything about this game is brilliant:
the way it looks,
the gameplay,
the progression of the story (which is on the scale of Star Wars in its epic-ness),
the music,
the boss battles,
the epicness (yes, it epic enough to say it twice)
the ending
...it's all completely fantastic

The not-so-good stuff:
Elevators... damn i hate those things!
The buildings in all the 'exploration' side quests are all exactly the same!

But you'll be hard pressed to find anything about this game that's bad.

Crysis

Picked it up the other day, playing through the Crysis series backwards, must admit Besides the bugs (seriously dumb A.I compared to Warhead) and performance issues Crysis is quite longer than warhead was.

Although Warhead never left you "wondering" from place to it always kept you busy. Not that Crysis does not do the same. Between completing objectives you always seem to be walking for long stretches.

80/100

Still got Singularity, Dirt 2, Burnout Ultimate Box, LOTRO and Bad Company 2 to complete... *sigh* I love my job for discounts on software. I hate my job cause it's not 9 to 5

As for the comment on BC2 Single player is a little arcade-ish. MP is a Huge increase.

Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect 2:
80/100

If you've played Mass Effect you can't NOT play this game
That being said, you may be somewhat disappointed with it.
In the same way as KoToR TSL was a really good game on it's own, but not nearly as good as KoToR, BioWare has made a not-nearly-as-good sequel to the best XB360 game ever.

The story is very good, but it takes forever to really start. There's a bunch of missions to do before actally getting to the main plot. While these mission are some good fun, it pales in comparison to M.E. which was very well paced and always egged you on towards the main plot line.

The game looks fantastic. This is the unequivocal improvement. Everything looks better.
No more of those annoying elevators, which is great. Those things really drove me up the wall in M.E.

The new weapon system was a bit of a disappointment... I prefereed the unlimited ammo system of M.E
Another big big disappointment was this new levelling method... it sucks.
The M.E. franchise is classified an Action RPG, but the RPG element (which was not particularly strong in M.E.) has become alot weaker. Which is a travesty.
I (unlike the vast majority of gamers out there) don't like shooters and i don't like pure action games (Brutal Legend was a waste of my time for the time i allowd myself to play it, and Bayonetta was even worse ... button mashing is really not my thing)
So it's quite sad that BioWare have gone down this route.

Ok, so in summary...
The production quality of this game is great and it does retain some elements of what made M.E so brilliant (which is why i can't score it lower that i did)
But it's a step down in some of the elements that made M.E the best game ever.
Anyone who's played M.E is gonna have to play it cos the main plot does advance a bit (when you eventually get to it) and it does have some epic moments.
But alas, it's much like comparing the discovery of The Exile (in KoToR TSL) being a 'wound in the force' to the discovery (in KoToR) that the Darth Revan is indeed alive.
It's just not the same!

Sniper: Ghost Warrior - 75%

It isn't a bad game, but it just has a lot of potential that got unused due to poor planning in the development of the gameplay.
