Planescape:torment. 9/10

Arguably, one of the best rpg experiences out there. Great game. Very morbid and atmospheric. And yes I did complete it.:p

Duke3d hd mod: 10/10
Awesome game with modern controls and updated visuals.

Bionic Commando 8.5/10.

I really enjoyed this game, well worth the R75 it cost me. It can get super frustrating at times, but if you concentrate and don't die needlessly it can be tremendous fun. The biggest downfall IMO was how short it was. Too bad Grin closed its doors, they left the story wide open for a sequel. I really hope by some miracle Capcom decides to let someone do one. In the meantime I'll get Bionic Commando Rearmed and its sequel when it comes out.

Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time

Graphics: 8/10
Story: 11/10
Longevity: 10/10

This game is sooo good I recommend it to everyone! I absolutely love it!
Dr. Nefarious has now become my favorite villian :D

Lost Odyssey - XBox 360

I've been craving a good JRPG for a while now. So when I got an XBox 360, the first game I got was this. It's long and epic and I had a good time. It does have its faults though, such as random battles becoming annoying at times (but I guess this happens with most JRPG's). A strange thing for me is that I didn't find any of the characters all that likable. Plus the main evil bad guy looks like an idiot. The characters are probably the worst thing for me about this game.

The best? The dreams. They are little short stories that you have to read and they are incredibly well done.

The verdict: 7.6

Alan Wake
81/100

The best stuff:
- The story is very good. And I liked the way it's presented ... it's quite novel (excuse the pun)
- The look & feel is awesome. This is my first "horror" game, so i don't have a benchmark, but Alan Wake definitely gets it right in my book (excuse the pun). There are so many times in this game where you'll be running through an empty section of the woods or a scrapyard thinking "I am so gonna get dead here".
- Night springs tv shows are quite entertaining.

The not so good stuff:
- On Normal, it's not difficult at all (...and i consider myself a weak gamer when it comes to difficulty).
- Not the best graphics in the world. Ok, it does work within the context of the look/feel, but it's no Final Fantasy XIII. Cutscenes are also not much better.
- You can almost always run away from a fight with no negative consequence... just get to the next checkpoint and the previous enemies disappear and let you carry on your merry way.
- It's a bit of a short story (excuse the pun)

Overall there's alot right with it, and very little wrong.
I'm not a big fan of pure action games, but the story was intriguing enough to keep me interested.
Definitely worth your time to play through.

Will look into it, I played the demo and really enjoyed it.

Killzone 2
Graphics: 9/10
Story: 7/10
Longevity: 9/10

Very good single player campaign, amazing graphics and art design. Multiplayer is addictive and lag is non existent. Great game and highly recommended.

Halo: Reach
90/100

Finally an ok-iesh story for us to enjoy but the graphics and and weapons set this game apart. Also, the sound has being upped.

Final Fantasy XIII
93/100
Note: This is my 1st FF game

The best stuff:
- This is the best looking game I've ever seen... the story aims to be an epic, and the visuals deliver every bit of the intended magnitude. The cutscenes are better than some Hollywood CGI movie titles (...yes, it's that good)
- The combat system is unbelievable. The depth of the system is incredible. Putting thought into your strategy pays off.
- The story is very good. Like i said before, it aims to be an epic and it delivers. The way it progresses also keeps you hooked. The ending was ever-so-slightly confusing, but was quite satisfying.
- The characters are deep and the way the game reveals each character's back story and role in the 'big picture' is done extremely well.
- The music is fantastic.

The not-so-good stuff:
- The game is an unending sequence of battles. You fight an enemy, move forward, and fight some more enemies. Then you upgrade and fight some more. Then there's a cutscene. Then you start again. The story does go a long way in keeping you going, though, so you won't be getting too bored.

Being a total newcomer to Final Fantasy, I thought this game was fantastic.
I've read that alot of the hardcore FF fans didn't like it... good thing I can look at the game for what it is as a stand-alone.

Splinter cell convitcion. I just cracked my real copy and played it with out the drm.

Good game nice length and good use of the unreal engine. Very fun.

8/10

WRC - Xbox360

Graphics = 1/10
Game play = 1/10
Sound = 1/10

a PS1 has better graphics than this load of crap.

Obviously the "OFFICIAL WRC game" just rode on the coattails of being official. There was nothing special about this. Dirt 1 even kicked this out of the field. Shame on you!

In comparison:

Dirt 1 - 2007

Dirt 2 - 2009

I played Sonic4 and I'd give it an overall 7.3. It's certainly no Sonic 1 but it's gettin there if they listen to fans for the next episodes!

Stalker: Clear Sky - 80%

Compared to SOC it's far more enjoyable, the starting swamps is just a pleasant environment to be in with the way they lit the level.
With gameplay they fixed quite a bit of the fundamental flaws and I quite like the upgrade system. But similar to the 1st game, there is room for improvement with a handfull of gameplay mods, especially conserning weapons accuracy.

Nier - Most people will say this game is crap . But for a reason I found this really , really good . The graphics could be a LOT better , but the game play and story is great .
