Prototype (360)

Crikey but those last couple of missions were tough! It was a relief to finish it and after the intensity of those last missions I just don't feel up to getting more achievements. I didn't enjoy the game a lot in the beginning but it became better with each mission. I skipped almost all of the side events because they were so unappealing. Overall it was worth the play though and the story was quite good and told in an interesting way.

Terraria

9/10

Fantastic little platform, side-scroller 2D game. Very similar to Minecraft in terms of mining for resources, and crafting them into useable items. Loads of creeps that come after you relentlessly, providing you with the option of either hiding in your house that you made, or staving them off. Creating tools made from copper through to hellstone is exciting and adventourous. However, once you have reached the last tier, the fun dies down a little.

None the less, the game is great in coop and generally all round a solid game for $10.

This might be a tad late, but the last game I played and finished (for the second time around) was Elder Scroll III Oblivion. It is excellent on so many levels.. was so amped for the new ES that I couldnt resist re-playing the old one :D

World of Tanks 7/10

It is a MMO. You battle it out against different types of tanks that were developed throughout World War II. Great game to play when you are fed up with a level or quest. Pretty good graphics and the tanks are 99.8% historically correct.

This may be old but got a copy of Madden 11 for Xbox. The last one I played was on PS2 which to me was unplayable due to complexity and speed of the game. On 11, its much better flow, more simple and actually enjoying! I must admit I am a closet NFL fan so was disappointed in Madden as of late, but 11 is so refreshing I can't wait to play the next game.

Gameplay can still be fast and you have to watch allot especially on Offence. But even the Pro's make mistakes.

I give it 8/10

Dragon Age 2

This is an epic RPG with great visuals, voice acting and storyline. The characters are complex and intriguing. The gameplay is fun but does go through periods where it's a little repetitive. The game took me about 26hours to complete (with most side quests done). The difficulty scaling is abit up and down and I would recommend playing it on hard for Veterans of the RPG genre.

I would give it an 8.5/10. A really good game overall, but lacking a little something that would have made it amazing!

The Witcher Enhanced Edition - Directors Cut (Steam) 8.5/10

The game is not without it's problems, in some ways it seems the developers were maybe a little too ambitious and there are a few minor flaws that you will encounter, namely some of the voice acting, however the game is a translation from Polish to English. However once you get into the game the world is extremely immersive, and for RPG fan's it will not disappoint, albeit and "old" game by today's standards, it is still a beautiful game graphically.

I've been mashing my way through The Witcher while trying not to get too distracted by the Witcher 2 box on my desk.

Pokemon Black & White, new area and everything but still repeat of the old games with slightly new story line and 2d/3d

If you new to the game you would find it very fun

I played two totally awesome game recently.

Enslaved - 8/10 (I'm not a fan of the Unreal Engine, it just don't do anything for me, story is EPIC and gameplay awesome).
Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom - 9/10 (what a unique and totally awesome game! I loved it! It was very reminiscent of Ico, you just have a useful companion in this one).

Bayonetta - 9/10

Incredibly underrated game in South African gaming communities. It is epic on so many levels. The combat is so fluent and polished, and graphically it delivers. The scale of the game is also quite impressive, with the biblical-like mythology adding some intrigue. The story might not be as comprehensible as you'd like sometimes, but it still delivers. The only major criticism I have is that the cutscenes are terribly designed and sort of draws from the experience. All in all, Bayonetta is a challenging experience that provides great replayability once you crank up the difficulty to something respectable.

the last game i played through to the end was portal 2 co-op

My God it hurt my brain. You have to love the way it plays out with your friend, and glados is as sadistic and sarcastic as ever

my Rating - 8/10 A good buy, no replay value

Tekken 6 (Xbox 360) - 7/10
Pretty decent game, although it does get very repetitive if you play through the scenario campaign thoroughly. What I did like about this game was that it was the first game I actually managed to achieve 1000/1000 points for so that's one good thing i got outta it :D
