L.A. Noire
8.5/10 or 9/10 I'm undecided
Overall I loved this game, the detective element was refreshing and worked well. I was worried when my PS3 froze an hour into the game, but after that no problems, through the whole game I think I saw 2 or 3 glitches, which were minor. There are a few plot mishaps and sometimes I forgot which case I was on and what had happened before (if I played the day before for example) and in that regard it was a bit confusing. I wasnt too pleased the way they ended things off, but the finale was darn good. Really really great story. Took me about 22 hours to complete the story. Then there's stuff to collect, well worth your time and your money.

Dead Space (PC)

If anyone is still deciding whether to play this, don't play it on a PC. Whew, mouse lagging issues and crashes to the desktop every now and then makes for an annoying experience at times. I had to force v-sync outside of the game to get the mouse to work right and apparently underclocking my graphics card would have fixed the crashing but I didn't try that.

The game itself is pretty good though and I on a console I think it would be a lot of fun. The story is predictable and it's not scary but it does give you a lot of frights and it does have some atmosphere. I enjoyed it despite its bugginess.

Metro 2033 (PC)

When I first played this game on a friend's X360 I hated it, I don't know why but I just didn't enjoy myself and the AI glitches just made it worse so I stopped after getting about 2 hours into the game. Some time has passed since then and when I got my new GFX card I thought I might as well give the PC version a shot as I was constantly hearing how beautiful this game looks and how atmospheric the world is. I'm really glad I decided to get the PC version, it was a totally different experience than the X360 version. I loved every second of it and I still can't believe just how good this game looks.

Some things in the game still irritated me a bit, like the broken currency system, but the game more than makes up for it with awesome set pieces, great atmosphere and some brilliant ideas (such as the gas masks and charger for the headlamp and night vision goggles). It also has some of the coolest weapons I have come across in a FPS, really love the automatic shotgun.

It worked pretty smoothly on my PC with DirectX 10, just struggled a bit here and there, especially on the rare occassions when you venture outside to the surface, but nothing too serious. Definitely gonna give this a second playthrough at a higher difficulty level at some stage and really looking forward to the sequel.

9/10

The Witcher 2

10/10 ok...thats a lie!

9.5/10...it's an amazing game with one or 2 little bugs that detract from the overall awesomeness!

Mafia II

This was a great game to play. It looks like a free-roam sandbox game, but it isn't. That does detract from it slightly, but all other aspects of this game make up for it. The story running in this game is just amazing and you find yourself rushing through gameplay to see the next cutscene.

I give this 8.5/10

Fable III

8/10

First RPG I've completed start to finish. Initially wasn't too sure (takes some time before you get into it), but once the ball started rolling I couldn't put the controller down. It may not be for everyone due to its comical nature but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Best thing of all? Grabbed it off Exclusives Firesale last year for R50 ;D

Outland

20/10

This has got to be the best game I've played this year! It's just EPIC on all levels! I would've payed full price for this game :D!!
I recommend this game to anyone who loves platforming, exceptional art and one of the best soundtracks in a game!

Finally finished Darksiders on PC. I give it an 8/10.

It took me 45 hours to finish :o , so great value, strong story, great combat and puzzles.

Tom Cancy's Rainbow Six - Vegas 9/10

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood on PC
8.5/10
I must say, even though you have to wait longer for the pc release, the extra content and fidelity is worth it. This game takes what was in AC2 and improves and expands on it, there's plenty of content for your money's worth (even though I won it from the Exclus1ves comp!) With each new AC I'm getting even more hooked on the series.
