Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2

8/10

Epic bits in the singleplayer was great, rest of it not so much though.

The fighting was done very well, and the longevity from the online and multiplayer fights is good.

Awesome awesome game. Great gfx, great story.

Played a bit of MP and it is super fun. Can see myself getting addicted to it.

Batman: Arkham City - 7.5/10

What a let down! I started the game at 8pm last night, I finished around 12-12:30 :(. The story was too short and boring, it did not have the same dark atmosphere as Arkham Asylum did. The combat has been improved which was nice, but for a SP game it really was not worth the full price!

I suggest getting it on special or when the price drops...

You cant be serious dude. I've played for about 7 hours and I'm like 12% complete? Unless you really didnt do any side missions, riddler challenges or exploration I do not see how this is possible.

Also, from what I've played so far I have to disagree with you. It improves on AA in every imaginable way. Definitely worth every cent I paid for it.

I did explore mate, not every nook and cranny, but I did. I did some Riddler challenges but not all and I did half of the side quests hey...

I didn't do any challenges though...

But still, Arkham Asylum to me over 15hrs to finish the story alone! Let alone the challenges, Riddler trophies etc...

No way dude, I've been playing for at least 7 hours & I'm only like 15% completed. From my point of view this game is a improvement over Arkham Asylum in every way. My suggestion is replaying and taking ur time. Story is tighter, combat is better, riddle puzzles is more than just collectables. Seriously try it again.

That does not make any sense. Like I said, I've played for more than 7 hours and I'm only 12% complete. Spoke to a friend of mine who's been playing non-stop since Friday and he's also nowhere near done.

Now that I can agree with.

Wow... interesting post there, man!
This kinda reminds me of the time i felt ME2 was nowhere near as good as ME1 and it was like i was the only gamer in the world who felt that way!
I'm definitely gonna play it and find out for myself.
But i was planning on waiting a bit anyway... new game prices are just too steep for me... like new car prices! :)
I'm all for the 1-year-old, still under warranty, FSH, with only 10000km on the clock :)

Took about 4 hours to get Rage Working on Saturday with update and Nvidia driver frustrations

Took 5 hours to finish the game on Sunday.

How can getting a game to work 80%(Screen still tears, texture loading is K@K and random crashes) take almost as long as the full game?

ending... rageface.jpg

Dissapoint.

7/10

PS: First post!

Should have gotten it on console then :p

I partly agree. I agree that the SP story was short, finished the game on Sunday. This definitely felt shorter than Arkham Asylum. However for me this game feels way better that AA, in every way. I'm also enjoying the hell out of the side missions, especially solving the Riddler puzzles.

I wont say the story is any worse or better than AA either. I haven't had a chance to play as Catwoman yet either. Cant download the DLC until we have internet again...

I think AA was alot more compressed, it didn't really have size missions apart from the Riddler thropies. The amount of other things to do in AC that constantly distract you from the main quest is mind boggling. I spent a 2 hour stint yesterday just hunting down riddler's know associates and doing riddles and/or other side quests (finished the phone booth killer)

So as a result im probably only 80% through the main plot but enjoying every min.

Enslaved (Xbox) 9/10

One of my favorite games in recent memory. Loved the story and the characters (superb voice acting and animation) and it looks beautiful as well. Combat is a bit hit and miss (excuse the pun) but on the whole it's functional. Highly recommended to anybody who missed it.

The sequel has been officially shelved. You have to ask yourself how a brilliant game like this was overshadowed and outsold by something as ludicrous as Kane and Lynch 2.

Infinitus Est Numerus Stultorum...

Agree with you brother, Enslaved was awesome but it is almost completely overlooked by so many people & it really is an awesome game.

I am kind glad Ninja Theory aren't one of those devs that bombard us with sequels.

Yeah true, but I really wouldn't mind another game with those particular characters.

Spent another good two hours in Batman AC tonight doing only side mission. I can see why someone might complain about the campaign length but only if they focus solely on it, but there is so much fan service and other things to hunt down in Arkham City. This game sure as hell isn't a sprint, or a quater mile drag, its a lazy sunday afternoon drive where you saver every sight.

You called :p?

Haha, I can understand where you are coming from. But I did do side quests etc... I guess I just went about it the whole wrong way. I knew exactly what I was going to do and how, so when I talked to a NPC I knew where he was etc... I didn't just run around on rooftops for no reason...
