BF3 and soon to be getting close quarters..give it a 8/10 because a)servers are never full enough and b)if the realism waas supposed to make it better than MW3,then why can i shoot a guy in the chest with a bolt action rifle and he still gets away.haha.suppose players would stop playing...if anyone here starts playing hardcore mode,im keen

Battlefield 3 is based realistically, not utterly realistically. There will always be flaws in games. Near-perfect, but never flawless.

Homefront (PC) - Homefront had a lot of potential with an intriguing storyline (a united Korea occupying USA? Come on), but it fell short with it's gameplay. It lacks technical prowess (not that it looks bad, but it doesn't look great) which makes it look and feel bland. Gameplay? When other shooters tell you where to go and how to do things, Homefront holds your hand, thereafter proceeds to give you a piggy back ride while telling you that it's the only way when you're eyes tell you otherwise. The feel of the controls isn't the best (nor is it 2nd best:p). It does provide some fun thrills here and there, but it eventually feels like a mind-numbing chore. So is Homefront a bad game? Not at all. It's just a shooter that played it too safe and happens to be riddled with lazy design choices...

Story - 8

Fun Factor - 6
Replay Value - 3 (There is no way I'm touching that campaign again)
Graphics - 7

Overall - 6.5/10

Mass Effect 3

As a conclusion to the series trilogy it was continually epic, I'm going to replay my second save female renegade eventually, but only once the extended ending patch is out, disappointing conclusion left to many unanswered questions.

Other than that, sound, music, game play, and just plain epicness leaves me rating it at about 90%

Eldar Scrolls Morrowind + all expanion packs

Quite honestly one of the longest games I've ever taken to complete, 200 hours.

Loved every second of it. I felt part of the Eldar Scrolls universe. Dovakhin can jump off a cliff. I am the NEVREVARINE!

Story - 10
Gameplay - 5 (Iffy animations, sword play is quite random)
Fun Factor - 8 (Lots of reading, but excellently well put together. You just feel awesome the whole time playing it)
Replay Value - 4 (After doing all the missions and tasks in the game, there is nothing much new to do on another run through, except maybe being a sneaky character and solving the problems differntly i.e run in there screaming with axe swinging)
Graphics - 9 (Bazillions of mods to make the engine run in Direct X 11 with ultra high detail textures. It makes my GTX 560 Ti sweat! Honestly looks better than Skyrim. Lookup Morrowind 2012 to see what I mean)

Verdict: 7.2

Play Half Life 2... again.
What can I say? Valve makes the best games and HL2 is definitely considered to be a classic.

Story: 9/10 Definitely memorable, One of the best stories I've come across, even though it's linear.
Gameplay: 9/10 Highly Immersive, Mind Bending Puzzles
Graphics: 8/10 Source Engine ages well and I have to mention how no other game engine rivals the facial expressions made by characters in this game. Unfortunately I'm one of the many ppl that suffer from motion sickness due to the FOV.
Concept: 9/10 Believable, Immersive, Post apocalyptic universe.
Fun Factor: 7/10 I get lonely at times, travelling from point A to B with no action, comtemplating the deserted landscapes.

Overral Rating: 8.4/10

Dead Island - Finally got my hands on it for the 2nd time. The game keeps you entertained for a while , breaking zombies' legs off and smashing their heads in but it gets repetitive after a few hours. The island which you play on is pretty big and the landscape is beautiful. A lot to explore. The only downside of the game for me is the availability of guns. They are extremely rare and pretty useless , but I guess that makes the game more realistic. I would give it a strong 8/10.

F.E.A.R. 1
Got the game on Gamersgate a while back for almost nothing (think $2). It was much better than I thought it would be... and much different. Was expecting some kind of scary horror type of game but it has a much more of a Half Life kinda feel to it. It was nice to play, interesting story, although not extremely memorable, I'd say it was worth my time.

Heavy Rain
Well, to sum it up in one word... WOW. I'm not sure if I were caught up in the moment / story too much or if in general it isn't that obvious, but when they revealed who the bad guy was... I did not see that coming. This game is half game, half movie... but to me, I don't really care as the overall experience was very entertaining. Graphics was great and with the PS Move, I played most of the game while standing on my feet. Can't wait until these guys release another game.
10/10

hmmmm, Street fighter x tekken.

Thought the graphics were good and played pretty well with the pc version. Not sure if they fixed the gamepad issues though. Good comic humor and combo's are just crazy.

i give it a 75%

Dragon Age 2: 7.5
I really enjoyed it. Graphics were good and the story was more about character development then another typical save the world theme which I really liked. The combat at the end got a bit repetitive but it was fun for the first 18 hours.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Solid 8
Enjoyably drags you into the world. Startling design and game world literally drags your time as well which I found was the main problem. To many missions and not much time to slay dragons.
Music by Jeremy Soule was another brilliant point about the game. Setting the nordic feel to the whole game brought life to the game on its on.

Mass Effect 3
I played part 1-3 and I kept the same character throughout the series. ME3 was fun, different from the previous one and VERY different from ME1. Some changes were good, others not so good. I generally enjoyed it, I just had to rush through the last few hours of the game (too many games, too little time). The ending was a total disapointment. I have so many questions about it, so many things left unanswered...

Fear 2: Project Origin - 7.5 / 10
I'm not really one for First Person shooters anymore (or horror games for that matter). Maybe back in my Duke3D & Unreal Tournament days, but I'm pretty much over it. This however was not bad. Like the first one, I didn't have much hope for it going into the game, but the story keeps me interested. Again, for some reason, the game reminds me a lot of Half Life and seeing that I only paid R33 for it, I almost feel like a thief. Moving onto FE3R next.

Ghost Recon Future soldier 80%
I enjoyed playing this game, but I got bored at around the ninth mission and played The Witcher 2 instead of this. I tried Ghost Recon again and I liked it. The game is kinda repetitive and the cutscenes don't look that great IMO. There were a few glitches in terms of AI. The story is forgettable and the ending was meh. I tried Guerilla mode, it's great but I don't like how you have to make sure enemies don't enter the "safe zone". (Afrikanns spoken in the Nigeria map=WIN). Not the best shooter around, but worth a playthrough

Dungeon Village (iOS) - 7/10I like the theme and concept; it's the closest I'll come to another "My Life as a King"game, but it's lacking something. There's just something a little meh about it, but I'm not sure what.
