Remember, Disqus is worldwide. Anyone in the world can sign up to it.

Either way, the trolls registered my nick on Disqus before I had a chance to. Me and James just agreed that the best possible solution is to ban Graal and any possible deviations from posting in the comments section.

Um, I don't know how else to explain it other than scrolling down to the comments on an article, have your say and click on "post as..." that should open up the sign in/sign up box, where you can either comments as your Facebook name, Twitter account, yahoo, google or open ID - or you can create a Disqus account. It's up to you.

Your entry doesn't have to be under the same name as your forum name. Whoever wins will have to contact us here via PM, if it's you, then we'll know. As for preventing trolls, it's pretty simple - linked accounts usually get white listed - meaning they can post without moderation approval. Everyone else needs comment approval. Trolls get black listed. That's why guest comments aren't eligible - there's no track-back.

Ok so Any linked account will work I have Disqus linked with Facebook so. I'm really into Gaming and currently am unemployed :( really need this mouse. my deathadder broke and now all I have is a really cheap no name brand mouse. Please Pick me for 1 of the mice????

Is it necessary for us to even mention in here that we're entering or is the draw going to include everyone who left an article comment automatically?

In any case, I'm in. My 8yr old 2-button MS mouse needs to go. :)
 
Ok, so disqus account thingy registered... now for the mouse which will surely make my life better, gotta replace the old pickaxe!!

Sorry if this has been asked before but is it based on the more times you comment on a news thing the more entries you get or will 100 comments count as one entry?
 
Well its a comment during the week. OS I assume that commenting and not spamming more topics would give you a better chance to be seen. That is how i read the rules :D

I normally spam every where so didnt have to go out of my way :D

Haha, if we did by amount of comments, we'd definitely be opening up the system to massive abuse - so we're taking it as one entry per commentor - it just keeps everything fair :)

A bit meh to register a disqus account, but its understandable as to why.
Just takes an extra minute or so the register the account.

The mouse looks really awesome, I like the fact that there are 3 being given away.

I'm confused. You say that you have three mice to give away, yet further down in your post, you mention that two winners will be announced next Monday.

Planning on keeping the third one? ;)
 
I made an account ages ago.. I just never use it because I'm on the forums much more than the news pages...:) But ja.. Posted like my second comment with that account...:) Will see if it brings me luck..:)

Thanks for spotting that - we usually copy the rules from a template and change it accordingly - I missed that one :) I assure you, all 3 are for you guys.
