Where can I get one of these?

Want to hook my PS3 up to my PC's monitor.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
Thank you.
Thats a VGA plug, DVI has pins and 4 (I think) flat pins too.
Trust me. Rather get a HDMI > DVI picture quality will be so much better. You can get them almost anywhere Musica, Hi-Fi Corp, Teletek or any Audio Visual stores.

Provided your Monitor has a DVI input, of course otherwise same as above most Audio Visual places should stock them.
Thank you, but, I don't have nearly enough money for an HDMI cable, and my monitor isn't HD Ready either, that why I want it.
I'm using the screen in the living room to play on, but I want to use my monitor instead, that's why I want a converter. You can get a 1M HDMI cable for R99 sometimes even cheaper, also you can just set the PS3 to 720p instead of 1080p, doubtful on quality loss though, I have done it with a Xbox and it worked fine.
Is it possible to connect an HDMI to VGA cable from a PS3 to a monitor that uses VGA?
Some research shows that because it's VGA [VGA being analog], it won't work as a direct connection, since HDMI is digital.
Yussis! R800+, nee man

I've actually found something @ a quarter of the price of this.If it's converting a digital signal to analog, that price doesn't surprise me at all.
Nah, thats done in virtually every piece of electronic equipment out there. R800 is excessive. If it's converting a digital signal to analog, that price doesn't surprise me at all.

Tried to make one myself, got it to work, only thing was I could only get one colour to show, Red, green , Yellow was the three i could choose from. Bud Rather get the proper cable.
My dad bought me an HDMI to VGA converter. Needless to say - it works brilliantly! - running games @ 720p. I just need a 2nd monitor so that I don't have to unplug the cable every time I switch from the converter to DVI adapter [for my GPU] and vice versa.
Dude where did your dad get that converter and how much, cause I also want to play on my monitor that has VGA.
Would really appreciate the info.
