Read Dead Redemption - Multiplayer Online

Need some help with RDR online multiplayer. I am the only one online, or am I doing something wrong, I changed it to Free Roam Public mode, but still no-one online. Could it be my connection etc....

Wish I could offer an opinion, but seeing as how I have no clue, sorry, can't help.

maybe state exactly what you are or aren't doing. And also, PS3 or Xbox? I'm assuming PS3 judging by your sig.

Sorry, yes PS3. Well not really much you can do, I select multiplayer option and login to Free Roam Public mode but cannot seem to find anybody else playing online.

[EDIT] Oh, wait. RDR uses dedicated servers. Nevermind.

Works fine on xbox live.

Really dumb question, but you are online correct? And have you patched?

Yes I am online. Well before being able to play online via PS3 you need to update the game to the latest version, which I did. Seems I am not the only one with the problem:

Was wondering if someone in SA had the same problem and how they fixed it.

Sorry dude, then I can't help you. I'm still a PS3 noob and don't really use it for online play. That's why I own a PC.

I had this same problem with mine; Was using Vodacom 3G. Figured it has something to do with how the normal APN blocks incoming traffic...

Couldn't be sure; and TBH I stopped caring.
I will try again when my DSL is installed.

It would help if you stated on which platform you are. Judging by your avatar I would say Xbox.
