Age of Empires 4 just announced by Microsoft at GamesCom!


That's the big news. They also announced:

- AOE 1 Definitive will release on Oct 19th
- They will be doing definitive editions of both Ages 2 and 3.

MY BODY IS READY!!!!! So hyped to see AoE4. I've loved each game in the franchise and will buy the ever loving shit out of this as well. Plus, the definitive edition of AoE1!? Yes please

The AoE Definitive Edition is already up for pre-order. R219 which is very reasonable I think.

Despite the awesome Youtube WOLOLO, it remains a Windows 10 exclusive.

I also saw that you can register to potentially get into the closed beta. I did that as well. I'm gonna pre-order the ever living crap out of this game! AoE is one of my favourite games of all time, and I would love to get this HD remake.

The other problem is I've got AoE 2 and 3. In fact, I've got AoE 2 HD remake with all the expansions as well. Despite this, i know I'm probably gonna buy those two remakes as well. I'm just that big of a [-]sucker[/-] fan of the series

Same here :D I'm a sucker for HD remakes of games I used to play when I was younger. It makes putting on the old rose-tinted glasses that much easier.
