Reason behind NFS Undercover differnt car lists?

Why did the NFS game developers, give different car lists, for NFS Undercover, for each type of console including PC?

Why did the NFS game developers, give different car lists, for NFS Undercover, for each type of console including PC?

I assume its licensing (I'm taking an absolute wild guess here). I suspect some of the racing game exclusives to each of the consoles have licensed certain car brands. Forza might have paid for right to use a certain car and in doing so specified no other company can use that specific car on the 360.

Thats how most things work sadly even with TV, Dstv can have the sports channels but TopTV cant.
