recently formatted pc - need help

hey guys i need some help.
I formatted my pc tonight to get rid of clutter but its not picking up my gpu properly. I have the asus eah5770 1gig and am using win 7 64 bit. I installed the drivers that came with the gpu but windows rating put it at 6.0. That being strange i decided to update ccc to 11,2 since i had it on dvd, nag and pcformat dvd's. When i installed it it stopped half way through, restarted the pc and scanned for errors with blue screen before logging into windows. When in windows an error saying, 'couldn't find gpu drivers or they are not working properly.' ati catalyst doesn't start so res etc stay low. How do i fix this so that rating etc goes back to what it should. Please please help me. Thanks in advance
 
I used CCleaner to get rid of old entries of Catalyst.
I have downloaded 11.6 Catalyst and installed it, everything works except it doesn't pick up that it is a 5770, only a 5700 series. So not understanding why.
 
I too have the 5770 yet it displays the Series 5700, perfectly normal. Nothing to be alarmed about.
 
Ok, thanks for the help everyone. I just find it suprising as sometimes the drivers will show its 5770 and sometimes 5750. I wish AMD would give proper credit to the people who buy for example a 5770 compared to the 5750 lol. No biggy I guess
