I've recently been enjoying Defiance since it went F2P. Surprisingly, it's an MMO but it plays a lot like a traditional shooter with co-op. I play mostly solo and I have a blast, but every once in a while a group event drops and it's awesome to work together with other people to complete the objective.
Where this leads nobody knows but it's important that you go with us. It's the road less traveled and it's not going to be easy. But should we make it we will truly have all we desire.
