South Africans should refuse and report bad service from public servants, Public Service and Administration Minister Lindiwe Sisulu said on Sunday.

People in the know tell me they've been slipping lately. Still miles ahead of most departments though.

I do consistently hear good things about the public protector & specifically Madonsela though. It'll be a bleak day when the political BS hits there. And frankly its only a matter of time - doing ones job is dangerous business in that line of work. Hell I've had solid people in gov tell me straight up that they don't want to join them because they have a family to care for. Apparently tenders are deadly serious business...

That's different, remember minister of finance makes the law, SARS just carries out. Your anger is misdirected.

I disagree, SARS plays a much bigger role than you believe. They provide the backbone of SA Tax and thus will advise the finance minister on the future of Tax collection based on the work they have performed, avoidance schemes encountered and problems identified. Where do you think the minster gets his source information from?

When one becomes difficult with public servants they become twice as difficult in return, and the management is never around to sort out any problems. So yeah...
