Remakes you'd like to see

With the recent re-release of the God of War 1 & II for the next-gen platform, which remakes would you like to see?

For me, Prince of Persia Warrior Within, and the entire Silent Hill catalog.

The original Crash Bandicoot games; 1, 2 and 3 :)

I loved those on the PS1... after those 3 the titles they got a little sidetracked, Naughty Dog has proved it can work wonders on the PS3 :D
 
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2
Can't think of anything else right now, I know I thought of something the other day, but can't remember what that was now.
 
Wish someone would make a decent UFO / Xcom remake, not those crappy ones from Cenega. I bought a few of them and they were poor :(

Off the top of my head:

Resident Evil 1's remake on the GameCube
Metal Gear Solid : Twin Snakes (remake of MGS1) on the GameCube.

Both titles are in most regards better than the originals.

EDIT : further examples :

Dead or Alive Ultimate. Contains remakes of DOA1 and 2. Both where light years better than the originals in all regards.
Final Fantasy III and IV on the NDS, remakes of the NES originals. Better in every sense of the word.
Tomb Raider Anniversary.

Any Zelda game. lol lol lol.

I would like an "arcade perfect" remake of Mortal Kombat 3 Ultimate. The 2D graphics should be the same, but it should look as good as it did at the arcade, none of this pixelated crap we see these days of supposed "remakes"

PC version was arcade perfect.

EDIT : Sorry. PC only had MK3 and MK Trilogy. Both were arcade perfect. (even though Trilogy was never released in the arcade, the visuals/sound/etc were on par with that of UMK3's arcade release)
 
I want to see Earthworm jim in hd. Still should be a sidescroller platform but with hd visuals:D

If its a picture perfect remake of the first one only with better visuals then yeah i guess. But remaking a game when one is already out seems rather pointless, rather spend energy on creating new games rather that doing what Nintenodo do and re-releasing the same games year after year.

All the games i hold dear with nostalgic memories of how awesome it would be to replay now is just that... nostalgia. Id rather play a entirely new IP than replaying a game I have already played and payed for.

But thats just me.
 
The Original SIERRA games e.g. Phantasmagoria, Beast Within, Space Quest. NOT like the latest Larry games that really sucked! I miss those old Adventure games that actually had DECENT story lines!!
 
I'm a big fan of retro gaming. Would love to see some of the classics properly remade with HD graphics - and hardware advances that enabled features the original consoles couldn't manage. Recent examples of great remakes are Perfect Dark HD and Serious Sam HD. There's also a big emulator scene dedicated to retexturing old games - esp N64 such as Zelda and Mario 64. They look fantastic in HD now.

Games I'd like to see done in HD - well all of the classics really, it's difficult to single out ones. There's a guy on deviantart who does concept wallpaper art of rendered 2d classics like Super Metroid and so on:

That would be great for me. I'd pay good money for a retro collection with these graphics.
