Remarkable Performances

Some actors have the ability to convince an audience that he/she was completely oblivious to the close proximity of a team of movie makers while 'acting' out a scene.

I need to add:

Actor Edward Norton
Role: Aaron
Movie: Primal Fear

(He is one of my favorite actors. Other excellent roles include: Fight Club, American History X, The Italian Job)

Actor: Brad Pitt
Role: Mickey O'Neil (The pikey, best role for him I think)
Movie: Snatch

(Also another favorite, different roles yet perfect in each of them. Se7en, Fight Club, Inglorious Basterds, and just about every movie he has ever starred in)

Cookie!? Haven't seen the film, will try to get it somewhere.

Menace, of course Heath's performance will be added to my list. I'll continue to update the first post as I think of more masterful thespians.

TBlaar, the first time I ever saw Norton, was in Primal Fear. Wow. Haven't added Pitt because I can't decide between his role in Fight Club or Snatch. He was also pretty good in 12 Monkeys and Seven.

Yeah, I chose Brad Pitt in Snatch because the role he played as that pikey was brilliant, he was just as good in Fight Club. He was also great in all other movies he played, Legends of the Fall, Meet Joe Black, Moneyball, the Oceans series.... The only role I think he didn;t do super well, was in Burn After Reading, but that was not really a role for him... they could have used anyone to portray Chad in that film.

And Norton, man, I also saw him in Primal Fear the first time, and he was great. After that, he always plays some kind of a bad-ass (American History X, The Italian Job) and for a relatively short and small guy, he does DAMN well portraying these roles.

If anyone has NOT seen Primal Fear yet, watch it, it will make you a Norton fan!
