I remember installing Guild Wars with dail up...Oh how excited I was to play. Only to find out that I needed 12k files downloaded before I could : /

I played Guild Wars on my 56k for a long time. It ran surprisingly well most of the time...but what was even more awesome was by the time my map finished loading, my team mates have cleared the entire zone and I just skip around lootwhoring as I go.
I still remember using a pillow around the modem at night to muffle the handshaking sound so my parents wouldn't know that I'm back online.
Telkom's R7 callmore was the absolute best.
... except when the line gets dropped 2hrs into the call.

I used to watch 7delaan for the sole reason of charging to my pc once it's done...
