Hey all,
I have a question as to do with insurance and replacement machines.
Last year my laptop got stolen. A replacement quote came in at R9000. I also submitted a quote for a kick ass gaming machine for R7500. Insurance do not want to replace the desktop machine, but rather the laptop.
Is it possible (or ethical/moral) for a company to replace the laptop, but exchange it for a desktop right away?
It's a sort of sneaky maneuver, but I already have replaced my laptop, so I don't need a laptop.
