Retailers: Rant and Rave

After seeing many threads relating to how cool or crap some retailers handled their customers, I thought that it would be fitting to create a thread where we can keep all of these issues in one place.

Rant or Rave about your retailer's service as much as you like in here. Perhaps we can even get this stickied.

It's in the hardware section though so it's probably worthwhile having one for games too.

I normally buy my pc games from Steam which just makes things so much easier. XBox360 games I get from Zaps and have never had problems with them.

Yeah, I think perhaps games need one too.

I have heard nothing but good things about Zaps, and (correct me if I am wrong) I think that they are the only active retailer on this forum, after the others bailed.

I also prefer Steam (or Gamersgate), but this current R/$ rate is killing me. Also, some of these clowns decided to start selling new releases at $60 (instead of the usual $50)... that brings the game to over R500 on Steam.
That means when games like Dishonoured and Borderlands 2 goes on special for 50% off, the special isn't really that "special" anymore. So in that case I either buy local or I wait for the 75% deal.

So when I buy local, I used to buy from Kalahari and Takealot (because they both have free delivery and both take eBucks), but after some very impressive same-day deliveries from Takealot, I now prefer them.

Jeez this makes a huge difference. I ordered late on Friday and had the option to get it yesterday (Sunday) already. Their prices are also really getting great.
