RIFT : Planes of Telara

I'm really enjoying the RIFT beta :D, started off with a Dwarf Cleric(Justicar/Shaman). But I need some advice Pr⊕phet, should I focus most of my soul points into 1 soul? Since you get 3 souls I don't want to screw up lol.

I might just buy RIFT on release :).

i would say have 3, but focus on 2 at most obviously you can go single if you want :). use a 3rd if you really must. the cleric is not so easy to build as you might find a few builds are just phew phew and you die at melee.

my best build so far is warlock/necro. cleric i'm still undecided, though i'm getting my healing spec ok it's just getting the build that can fight too that's going to be more "work" :D

How did you guys get into the Beta or did you Pre-Order?
Don't think I have ever anticipated a game that much in a long time. It looks very very neat!
 
2 normal beta keys for whomever is first . note that this does not mean you will get in. it means that you might get in.

also you have to create an account first and then apply it. (at the rift game site)

So let me get this straight: RIFT allows me to have a healer role for a group and then I can switch to a soloist role for soloing when I want to run solo? So each soul is essentially another class you can play?

you have 3 souls and basically you can use any on of there skills some does combine to make some awesome damage dealing. The same with healing. But you don't have to go combination you can go your main soul solo and your 2de or 3de soul healing and maybe a support.
 
Question: the pre-order client, when will it go live for download, on the 24th Feb when the headstart begins? Anyone know?
 
beta invites has been sent from yesterday. you should have one in your inbox or it's still on it's way
if you had a VIP key. for the normal keys, well if you get one you were picked :)
 
I am really looking forward to playing Rift on release or as soon as I can get a client after headstart begins. I wont be playing the beta though, after ChO and STO betas I promised myself I will never play in an MMO beta again, spoiled the game for me.
 
If anyone wants to join the beta just give me a shout(PM), i've got some VIP beta keys.

been playing the beta and having a blast! Quite literally with pyromancer.
Was skeptical playing as don't usually like beta's, prefer to savour the experience on release, but so far it is very polished and having fun.
