RIFT : Planes of Telara

Some info about the queues:

Hey Folks-

It's opening day and there are queues. That's pretty standard for a situation where you have this many people trying to log on at the same time.

We are in the process of opening more servers. Please keep checking here on the forums and Facebook/Twitter for the latest news.

Thank you for your patience. We are working to accommodate you all as quickly as we can. We are as anxious to get you into Telara as you are to get there!

made my chars this morning on Steampike (guardian):

Lara - Mage (main)
Amphiptere - Cleric
Mystis - Rogue

all set to play this afternoon and hopefully most of weekend!

I'll add your characters to my friends list later :).

I started with a Cleric(Biorr) on Steampike.
 
Rolled on Sagespire PVP last night.
Still open to try another server, just need to convince 3 people to move with me if I do :P
Will see what server populations look like tonight.

Sounds like when I started playing Aion on release. Get home, log in ... have supper and sort out everything - 2hrs later I'd just about be logged in.

It'll ease out - nothing to get stressed over. At least it shows an overwhelming interest :)

I went to BTgames, but they only have the March 4th release version :/ I'd reaaaally like it if you guys can post screenies!

Since I'm still busy playing Aion, I won't hop in right away, although I've started getting off it a bit. If Rift makes a trial available I'll give it a go and then make a final decision.

My reasons for quitting Aion would be more financial than anything else, so Rift would have to do a fair bit of convincing :p

Oh well, it is understandable. If anyone wants to add me to their friends list on Steampike it is Arbel. Playing Guardian Warlock / Necromancer / Dominator for now. May change the Dom to Chloromancer since I hear it is an awesome leveling build.
 
I'm using a pyro / storm and cloro build. that healing ability helps when you take on to much.
will add you to buddy list as well.

Added to my list ;-) I now have quite a long list of SA people on Steampike and their alts!
 
Has a South African Guild been created yet? If so what name and who does the invites?
I am looking for a guild, but would prefer to joining a SAFA based guild...
 
SA Guild has been made on Steampike: guild name is Prophecy, people who can invite are: Nero, Lara, Hayley, Humility, Silverhawke.
 
you can catch me on Amphiptere or Lara for invites to guild.
We must get some Rift raiding groups going, even for the lowbie zones. Atm I'm going through altitis.
meh, in a que now to get in, it looks like it is counting down quickly though, it started with 2 hours but jumped down to 1 hour and a bit in a few minutes and still moving down.

Death to afk'ers.
