Rip Robert miles

DJ Robert Miles, known worldwide for his million-selling dream-house track Children, has died aged just 47 after a months-long battle with cancer, the online radio he founded said on Wednesday.

"Robert passed away peacefully last night after a courageous battle with stage 4 metastatic cancer over the last 9 months," OpenLab, which also broadcasts on traditional airwaves in the Balearic islands of Ibiza and Formentera, said on its Facebook page.

"Throughout it he was strong, determined, incredibly brave and did everything he could to fight this horrendous disease," it said.
"Robert was more than just an artist, he was a pioneer, a creator, an inspiration, a son, a father, our friend."

Yeah started it all in a way and paved the way for dj's to become more mainstream in those days. Children, one and one. And fable were some of my favs and his stand out songs. Dream trance was his tryle and made me fall in love with the trance genre.

I was very sad when I heard the news break of his passing. Much like [MENTION=7799]AlienTaker[/MENTION] his tracks were my first real exposure to trance before I even knew I loved trance and I will be forever grateful to him for the impact he had on my beloved music genre.

Yeah, I follow a lot of electronic artists on Facebook and they all had something good to say about him; sharing condolences and respect to him for the legend he was. While Children is the track most people will remember him by I'm glad you mentioned One and One as that track is one of my all time favourites by him.
