robbers of SA

If the Cell C speed stick is still active let me know, I have contacts that can help track the location.

I would need the IMEI number and/or the cell phone number.

Sucks when that happens. If they took a lot of stuff, then it must have been inside info, since your flat is so high up. Has any workers been into your place recently? It seems like a lot of trouble just to steal some gadgets.

Nah.. But there are workers on ground level.. But yeah.. Its a crap load of effort just to get those few things.. So Im sort of leaning towards my next door neighbors since they onli have like a meter and a quarter wall between our patios.. But they cusnt be that stupid......??

Sucks bro! Only read your thread now.

Keep us updated on the insurance thing. Surely for household goods you just have a lump sum on it all - as in insured for R50k household goods? Then you just gotta prove you had an xbox?

If insurance do pay you R10k for the laptop, maybe you can just buy a R7k laptop and use the rest of the cash to buy an xbox?

Similar thing happened to my mom in the UK. On the fourth floor and they broke in through the balcony during the night while she was asleep. Cops said she was lucky she didn't wake up.

Which is why I moved to England. Sure my place might still get Burgled but the % chance is alot less and if I find some fucker in my house I can beat the snot out of him without him being able to file assault charges against me.
In the UK? I think not. I'd suggest reading the Crown Prosecution guidelines.

They changed that AFAIK. I remember a thing a few years back where some judge accidentally killed a dude that broke into his house by bonking him on the head with a mag light. Plus I live next to the river, easy to kill him and just dump him into the water.

Omg.. I just noticed something... The assholes stole my Skyrim cd box.. All that's in there is my map of Skyrim.. Those fucktards... If I find its someone in my block of flats I will go all dovahkiin on their asses and shout them off their patio...:O And if that doesn't work I'll whip out my sword (I have a roman sword:)) and slash at them....

Dude... The map :(

Sorry to hear this buddy.

Waaaaaaay back in the day they broke into our house 3 times while we were on holiday (3 separate occasions) and they took my PlayStation 1. All 3 times :(

We had Trellidoor on at the time and they couldn't break it down, they could only bend the bottom up slightly to get small things out of the house.

Hey, at least you didn't find them in your house like me. My wife woke me up for a noise of an idiot dropping the sliding door (which I didn't know at the time) so I walked downstairs and switched on the light and a guy makes a noise obviously getting a fright. I crapped my load. He snatched my wifes bag and ran. Not nearly as bad as your situation, but I can relate.

I know that kinda should can happen here but its so much less likely to happen which is why I pulled up roots and left.

You'd better make sure of that, also you'd have to clear it with health and safety ;) remember England is a nanny state their laws might be even more finickity.

Thats odd... either they didnt know what the kinect was or they only took what they wanted/needed... does your upstairs neighbor have teenagers?
