Robocraft (F2P game)

So anyone else fighting inanimate opponents? I haven't actually been able to try destroy anyone yet.
 
Just played around with the test bots and it seems pretty cool ! Im impressed with the controls, want to try build my own bot now.
 
Really enjoying this so far ! My first bot is abit messy, want to start a new one with the upgraded parts I have now.

Thats cool.. I haven't been able to play since the last update.. i start up the launcher and it says all the files are good.. but when I want to log in it tells me that I dont have the latest version :rolleyes: so ive been waiting for the update
 
It does seem to take REALLY long to once you log in, after logging in it says "Loading assets" for quite a while

Most people have had that issue,including me.

Uninstall RoboCraft and then go to its folder and delete everything in it.Reinstall Robocraft again and update it,should resolve your problem.

BTW seems we are getting platoons,anyone feel like creating a MyGaming one?

Edit:Nevermind,it seems platoons work more like squads.A normal player can play with 2 others via invite while a premium player can play with 3 via invite.

So i bit the bullet and re-installed the game and was very relieved when it said i only had to download 4.6 Mb and not the whole 600 Mb again.. :D

What's everyone's names in-game? so i can add you to ma friends.. oh nevermind.. its not enabled yet.. Friends should work soon though

When I start up the game, the background is grey, a message pops up to press Tab to access the menu, I press tab and the message comes up to click on Battle. I do not see the menu, only the grey background.

Anyone else had this issue? Any idea how to correct it?

Has it been like that since install or just started bugging out? Maybe try play with the settings? If not.. try reinstall the game
 
Anyone still playing?

Plasma got released a while back (slow projectiles that fly in an arc and deal AOE damage),at first they made it so you can only place it on top of your robot to curb plasma bombers but people just build their flying bots flipped over and vertically.As a result they have removed the placement restrictions but reduced the blast radius because you could one-shot most bots (except for the faster ones and flying ones)Laser flyers are currently the bane of plasma bombers.

A few new things added like gauss and wings.

If it's not too much trouble,can someone upload their file called 'Resources.assets' located in C:/Games/Robocraft/Robocraft_Data after the update.

A few people have been having the problem,it was resolved for me when another player uploaded their file but the devs have released another update so i need an updated file.

How is the game now ? haven't played in months ! has there been many improvements / additions etc ?

Quite a few things have changed,there is now a minimap.You can detect enemies with a radar,you can install a jammer to disrupt yourself from the enemies radar,you can install a receiver so you can pick up ally radar readings.

Plasma has been improved,lasers have been reworked and are a bit OP,Gauss was added but lasers do a better job at sniping,wings were added so you can gain lift when moving forward fast enough,tech tree was revamped.

There are a few more things but that's most of it.
