Rory mcilroy pga tour omits the masters tournament

EA has confirmed that its upcoming golf game, Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, will not be including the Augusta National Golf Club.

Its license with Augusta National has expired, which also means the game will not include The Masters, one of the four major tournaments on the golfing calendar.

In a tweet from the official EA Sports Golf page, it has been suggested the course may be added as post-launch DLC.

EA's golf franchise took a year hiatus after its partnership with Tiger Woods ended in 2013.

This is so totally bullshit!!! Utter bullshit!!! The Masters is THE tournament on the annual golfing world calendar, and it's pathetic that the supposedly premium golf game doesn't get the course out of the box. So all they are doing is removing it to charge people for the DLC!?!? Jis that makes me soooo pissed! I love golf and I love golf games, and to see this happening is a damn shame. Fuck you EA!!!

Man, this is depressing. They waited to release their first golf game for current-gen so they could 'do it right', same with NHL.... I don't mind the lack of modes in NHL, I only play the odd game, but no Masters? They've had plenty of time to get their licenses sorted...

I have to think [MENTION=9789]DieGrootHammer[/MENTION] has the right idea, its probably just a greed thing, making it DLC.
