Router issues HELP

i got a problem with my router if i use it on the psn then it starts to drop the connection but if i plug in a normal 4 port then it downloads fine
but if i use the dlink wireless router then it resets all the time
help???
ps: i can use the dlink on any other pc via lan cable or wireless and it works fine

Just to clarify, your dlink wireless router is giving you trouble with your ps3?

1. Basic check, but what kind of signal strength is your PS3 getting? Edit: Are you using wireless or an ethernet cable?
2. Is it the connection to the router, the routers connection to the internet or router itself that's bombing?
3. Exact make and model of your router please.
4. If your router has security features (various attack protections etc. try disabling them).
5. Have you tried updating the router's firmware?
