RPG for teenagers

@OP,
Final Fantasy series?

Can get FF7 on steam.
Grab a PS2 emulator on PC and introduce her to Final Fantasy 8, 9, and 10.

Controls are rather simple. Lots of open world roaming and battle is not too violent. Stories are well written, but requires a bit of patience.
:)

The above posts recommends the newer games on pc.
Something to consider for non-pc: pokemon :D

"whistling: I've been playing fable myself this morning for 3 hours. Quite enjoying it, a bit of brainless fun.

I think the game is perfect for her. Thanks for all the recommendations.

Minecraft is quite casual, and one can spend many many hours on it.

orcs must die!, not open world, and not an rpg. Don`t know why I thought about it... just the most fun i`ve had in recent years of gaming.

I was wondering why no one was recommending Minecraft...

It is extremely open (In a way) and you can build stuff :) (If she liked Sims it might be a good idea).
It is moddable and she can play with the textures + there is online :)
She might like that it is a first person game for a change.
My cousins (Who are female) like playing it and they are 9 :)

The bit I played of the KoA demo seemed a lot like Fable actually. Is that accurate? I can't really comment about the full game since I don't have it. "whistling:
yes except KoA is a bit more RPG, and the combat system is better..... Imma find it for you.....
