RPG Nerds Lend Me Your Ears!

Was browsing the web during my Lunch Time and stumbled onto this on IGN:

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning an up and coming RPG for Xbox, PS3 and Windows. The preview sounds promising, like its a throw back to more old school RPG's.

What really got me to sit up and take note was that renowned Fantasy Author, RA Salvatore who is a big hitter with plenty of Forgotten Realms novels under his belt, he is also the Author responsible for the iconic Character of Drizzt Do'urden, everybody's favourite Drow Ranger.

Some Screenies:

been following this for awhile! It looks INSANE! thanks for the screenies. they brightened up my day!

Ja also been following this for a while. It looks really promising with the destiny system you can pretty much forge any hero you want, a k@khuis vol loot, and also some awsome fast paced combat.

Looks very good.

I was surprised when I first saw this. I hope I'm done with my first Skyrim playthrough when it releases. D:

Wow looks very legit :)

Nice to know that some modern RPG makers are not all about graphics (although this game looks very pretty too)

It's too anime/final fantasy for my tastes ..... I'm old school, prefer the DDO/Baldurs/NVN style of rpg. Good few buds will be chuffed and looking forward to this though.

Really love the combat in this one. Looking forward to giving it a try BUT, ain't getting my hopes high attorney. That almost always ends ugly.

Any game that has anyone working on it that was even remotely involved with the Forgotten Realms or Baldur's Gate is an automatic purchase for me. I am definitely going to get this one.

Looking awesome. My goal is too keep playing Skyrim and only finish the main quest the day before I get Kingdoms of Amalur.

It does, kind old school rpg meets newer hack n slash. Combat looks fast paced.

Lol. Dude that sounds like an awesome Idea. My biggest worry....

Kingdom of Amalur: 10/02/2012
Mass Effect 3: 9/03/2012
