Rumour: New AMD GPU to have same power as GTX 980 for a fraction of the price

The new AMD Polaris 10 GPU is rumoured to have the same power as a GTX 980 for a fraction of the price and drivers written by an outsourced team that earns less than minimum wage in a third world sweatshop dev house

Your AMD hatred is really so stupid bud. The drivers have been fine for the last 8 months. They now have a full on dedicated team working on drivers non stop (I know a guy that works as a software development engineer for AMD). If you want to talk about kak drivers you should mention the last 2 Nvidia drivers that caused bluescreens and hardlock ups and it took them nearly 4 days to "fix" it. Then boom next driver release same story. This is coming from someone with 2x 980Ti cards in sli. Then they finally released a working driver...2 weeks later...lol

Fanboinism is damaging to the industry and your image ;)

Edit: Let's not forget towards the end of last year they had 3 shit drivers in a row.
Edit 2: In the same time period I had an AMD R9 fury X and only had issues with 1 driver causing a black screen every now and then.

My gripe with AMD will end when they stop playing catch-up with Intel and nVidia and actually start leading again. Hell, I have an ongoing tiff with nVidia and their Linux support or lack thereof.

You realize that AMD has Nvidia beat at every price point except for the 980Ti right?
As for them catching up with Intel, not sure if it'll ever happen, and it doesn't have too. If they put out a cpu that's 20% slower at 20% lower cost it'll sell well. The problem is they spend money on paying the directors instead of pumping it back into R&D.

Things going for AMD right now is the huge cash injection they'll be getting from the console refresh, they've also poured a ton of resources into VR. Mainly though they're now in bed with Japan which in business terms is HUGE.

You also seem to forget the whole GTX970 issue, where Nvidia lied out their ass until they were confronted by well known tech sites.
Or how their driver team has been sucking donkey balls for the last 8-10 months, while AMD have actually improved heavily in all aspects.
