S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat

I hate those dwarves, apparently they use weapons as well. Those chimeras get harder after that one.
 
Omega do you play with the lights off. I do,it really adds to the atmosphere.

Nah my wife will kill me. Im still in the living room till i get a telephone cable into my study. Plus i prefer not shitting myself.

Is it just me or is it really easy to get rich in this one?
 
It is easy to get rich. But it is easy to get broke as well. I like the fact it is easy to get money.
 
The thing is, that you do run out of money. At the moment I have no money as I needed to upgrade my suit and buy ammo. They never drop the ammo I need.
 
I have 40000RU, 600+ rounds of rifle ammo and about 200 shotgun shells for my striker. I have 20+ health packs, 40+ bandages, and all my equipment is upgraded to second tier. So it just feels a bit easy, i mean earlier i went and resuceud a stalker that the bandits where holding hostage, i took out the entire camp and got a goldfish artifact as reward, sold it for 14K RU. So yeah not exactly scarce on the resource front.
 
Can't wait to get this game tomorrow. Then all this freakin greek you ous are talking will finally make sense!

lol wait til you deplete the resources. I run into a building full of monolith troops and got blasted away. Plus there were zombies. I am playing it on veteran now.

Do you not loot bodies? Plus nobody storms into any building in a STALKER game. You wait for nightfall then pick them off one at a time.
 
The thing is it was night fall and I did not rush in lol. And they are hiding in the building so it is close combat. I loot but I am usually to busy with the mission and don't want to be to burdened. At the moment I can carry up to 68kg with out being burdened. My suit weighs alot and my weopons are not light weight. I have a sniper rifle worth 260000.
 
Crank up the difficult level then omega.

Yeah same here murph in 2 day's getting the game then I can talk with.
 
It is a massive leap in difficulty. There bullets do alot of damage now so I am using my meds like mad.
 
Cool, got it installed, looks awesome - only had a few minutes to check it out - already hate the first gun though :p
