How and why is it shameful? It is annoying and frustrating, but not shameful. It is also logical really. Since Western Digital and Toshiba's production plants have been shut down and Seagate struggling for components fire manufacture, price increases were inevitable.

Working for a major distributor myself, I can attest to the stock shortages already becoming apparent.

My friend will be glad he got his two 2TB drives at rage Fortunately I'm sorted for space at the moment, hopefully the prices will be better when I need s new drive again.

Its been in effect since friday i think most suppliers put thier prices up, i know cause i wanted two more 2TB harddrives. Stupid price increase can only get one now. But that is kewl... It was bound to happen, with all the things happening in Thailand.
