SA petrol/fuel pricing breakdown

Yep, it is depressing, I put in R400 yesterday and got about 34 litres :(

Maybe it's time to get started on the Mr Fusion from back to the future...
 
What SASOL failed to explain is how much it costs them to produce a litre of fuel with their CTL (coal to liquid) process. The whole point of this process was to free Apartheid SA from a rising oil price. I believe that they are only allowed to produce 25% of their fuel from coal. If that is still so, the 25% limit should be removed, and Sasol should be forced to sell its fuel at a lower margin.

I don't see any guarantee that they would pass those savings on to the consumer if this happens, they would still milk us for all we're worth
