Sacred 2 Discussion

I cannot wait for the expansion to try out the new Dragon Mage.
The fact that they have confirmed Sacred 3 is also pretty damn AWESOME! I just hope the new development team can live up to the first two.

I just hope they get the proper support they need. You can see they love what they really make. They put in so many subtle things into their games which most AAA developers do not even bother with.

I hear you man, you can really see that they've put a lot of love into their games.

PS, nice avatar. Desu Noto is the shiznit

Here's a tip. If you focus on bargaining only in the early levels then you have a chance of finding a light saber at one of the merchants. I won't recommend doing this with your main character but rather create an alt. Here's a pic of what it looks like.

Bargaining is one of the skills you can put points into when you level, but I think you need to put 5 points into one skill before you get access to bargaining. I Forgot what skill it was :(.

I warn you now that probably need to start focusing on one type of weapon skill by around level 15. You don't want to waste points in skills that you wont use at all later on :). Like I should have never put points in shields early on because now I dual-wield and don't use shields at all :(.

I've got a big ass hammer that does 41 - 68 damage "Hammer of Doom" or something. 1-handed ofcourse :D with a nice shiny shield :) Yea im gonna concentrate on hammer n shields from now on, it makes a nice "thump" sound when i wack ppls :p
Oh how i hate the millions of kobolds that attack me atm :(

Kobolds are good for picking up runes, which you will need lots of.

Tip 2: Don't eat too many runes at once. The more you use the slower that skill will regen. You will need to find a balance. But don't worry it's early still, it becomes a concern after around lv.15.

I don't understand the significance of runes? The manual is not very informative. Neither do I understand the whole swapping out of runes with that dude in the town centre...

Runes are firstly what unlocks all your skills, which you should know. Using runes of a skill that you already have increases that skills effectiveness while also increasing the time it takes to recharge (a double edged sword of sorts). So when you level up and put points in say Malevolent Champion then all your skill in MC will have a decreased recharge time for every point put in. That balances out the fact that runes increase said time. Swapping runes at the Runemaster is there so you can get runes you need by selling off the ones you don't need (e.g. seraphim runes). I'm not sure if I am being very clear, but you will pick it up as you play and level up :).

I went to the "Blind Guardian" Concert this evening.

Um....how do you go about whetting or annealing your weapon at a blacksmith?

So far as weapn skills are concerned, my Seraph is concentrating on swords.

I went to the Blind Guardian concert aswell, then sold all of the "musical weapons" for lots and lots of money. Those weapons aren't THAT powerful
