So...my graphics card has 3 blown caps..it still works but I can see its on its way out the door.
Lucky its still under warranty and will be getting replaced, how long will it take? "A Few Days" :(

So its my last night of gaming tonight for "A Few Days"

Sad sad day today.

Well that means my Xbox will get much love for a while. :D

loooooooooooooooooool what GFX card is it??? and how do you know its blown 3 caps???
 
Force 3d HD 4850 512MB

I did a transplant to my new Antec P183 Chassis and noticed 3 caps leaking crap, from years of IT experience I know that aint right.
 
I've had 2 GFX cards leave my side already :( a 6800GS and a 7800GTX(this one already had a buyer and I got my HD3870 a few hours later, sigh could'nt it have lasted a little longer)
 
My MCE gfx card is also on its way out...but that must wait until it pops completly or I do an upgrade of my gaming rig.
 
At least you have a replacement, when my faithfull Radion 9250 died I couldn't play any games for 2 months!

Its day two now without my gaming computer.

I can feel my reflexes getting slower...how long will it be before I have forgotten how to side strafe and snipe?

I feel my mind set turning into that of a noob, I’m worried about my well being.
Hope that I can hold out those "few days"
 
Warranties on GFX cards can take long. Sometimes the store can just give you a replacement, but other times, they send the thing all the way back to china.
 
Its been a week now :(

Spoke to they guys yesterday and they reported that the card has been replaced :)
but I will only be able to get it tomorrow :(
 
Just got a phone call from the supplier.
"Oh we sorry, there is no replacment for your card" we will credit you or you can swap for another card. Took the Asus HD 4850 512MB (no pay in) awesome as this was the original card that I wanted, but took the Force3d as it was cheaper.

Should get it tomorrow :)
