Any reason I shouldn't go for this?

Currently have a 320GB Seagate and 250GB Western Digital in my machine. Time to get some space since steam has used 85% of my Seagate drive.

Wow, damn, I just picked up a 1TB Seagate drive for around the same price a few days ago. Only thing is that the eco drives spin at around 5900RPM, but they can increase to 7200RPM?

I bought two of these to use in my little NAS housing and so far have not been dissapointed
They run at a decent enough speed to network stream MKV's

Stable, nice and quiet, fairly decent price

mine just died after 5 months (PCB Failure) luckily the okes @ esquire did an immediate swop out for me

Ok not going to create a new thread for this, I have to get a new hdd as well. My external is making a lot of clicking noises and I suspect sometimes stops working for a second or 2 at regular intervals.
I am looking to spend at a maximum of R700, looking at size first then performance. Obviously quality is a huge dependent.
Any suggestions? I have seen the Seagate Barracuda SATA 3 for R605, 1tb or the WD Caviar Green for R579 (Sata 3 1tb)
Not for online shopping, just a walk in shop in southern suburbs cape town
