Thats exactly what happened to me but works both ways sometimes I can hear people and talk to them yet they cant hear me.

As far as I know, it has always done this. Also, I was in Durban about 1.5 weeks ago and had the same issue there and my sister sometimes come to stay with me when she has to work here in the city... and she is always on the phone. I highly doubt that it is the network.

So have you tried a sim swop to see if its not your sim card?
