warpshop R3,573.76

Can't say I've ever bought anything from warpshop though.

That price seems a little high too. Sure it has nice response times and the picture might be better, but I'd rather go a Samsung T260 25.5 inch myself. R3,149

Yip :) I already have a T260 so I'm looking at something with a nice big Resolution and size as well 30" FTW :)

Good GRANDMOTHER that's almost R17,000! No thanks!!! :)

hahaha.. you're right.

I'm also keen to get a 30"+ PC LCD at the end of the year - but seems pretty hard to find one at a realistic price.

The only one I've come across that's almost there is the Samsung 320MX 32" wide. That goes for about R5600, but has a 1366x768 max resolution :/

Dang...it's no good having a big monitor with a low res. I suspect we'll be rewarded with patience dude, I have a feeling that samsung is going to release a new line of LED back-lit PC monitors soon enough and hopefully we can grab a 30" one then.

Nah...then you get a 1920x1080 max resolution. The T260 already does 1920x1200 which is a bit higher. I've also recently bought a 1080p Samsung 32" LCD TV for my fiance for her xbox (now now boys, not THAT xbox) and I'd actually like to see a PC running on it.

For now I'm waiting for a nice HIGH res monitor. *dreams*

It's technically 'higher', but it is really the difference between 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios. It should be a lot cheaper getting a 16:9 monitor/tv these days than a 16:10 monitor, because everyone is shifting over to 16:9, since the panels are cheaper to make (no idea why, this is just what I hear).
