Hi Guys

Sooo I might have the opportunity to Trade my

MSI HD7970 3GB Lightning BE
for a
Sapphire HD7970 6GB Vapor-x GHz Edition

Ive been looking at the difference and the Sapphire is got slightly better GPU, MEM clocks than my MSI and has and extra 3GB RAM.

I know I dont need 6GB, But this means I dont have to upgrade in along Time.

Whats your thoughts on these two cards?

Am I making a good trade?

Straight trade or do you need to add cash?

How much warranty is left on your card vs the one you trading for?

Speed = draw faster
vRAM = draw more
That added vRAM is only good if you are running multiple screens or 1440p resolution.

Truth be told, unless you are playing in 4k or have a 3+ monitor setup, you won't see much of a difference. If any.

Would rather stick with the current card. A straight swop with no comeback or warranty - not something I would do.
