A school to breed competent, efficient, accountable and responsive public servants was launched in Pretoria on Monday.

"We have understood that this efficient, effective and responsive public service that we seek, cannot will itself into existence," said Public Service and Administration Minister Lindiwe Sisulu.

Launching the School of Government at Freedom Park, she said it would replace the Public Administration and Leadership Management Academy.

LMAO. So they just renamed it?!?

Well if renaming it once supposedly leads to better results, why don't we just rename it daily?

Streets too...renaming them every day would totally boost tourism revenue because the tourists can't find their way home...

Speaking of which some of the signs they put up with an airplane on it during the WC did actually point the wrong way (Towards Bela Bela instead of OR Thambo).
 
The problem with public servants (and you know which ones I'm talking about) is corruption. They do their jobs great when they want to but there isn't any motivation to keep it clean and create a prestigious department.
