Science discovers gamers can control dreams

Of the dreams that I can remember having, I recall controlling some aspects here and there. I'd be like:"This girl needs to be hotter...... and have less clothes on...... also there should be three of them! Triplets FTW!!!!!" :D

Rofl they didnt know this? I thought as well controlling some aspects of a dream was normal???

Cant control all my dreams so i guess that makes me a casual gamer :D

I had a a dream I was playing Mario bros 3 and I kept on dying at the same point.
The next day I was in a bad mood:o

I must say I've always been able to control myself in dreams, most of my dreams are RPG like experiences :p

A few months ago me and two of my friends stumbled upon lucid dreaming, and we immediately tried it out, and sad thing is according to the wiki its suppose to be this long process. We all got it within a few shots. Quite fun actually, I thought we were just gifted. seems gaming is good :P

What did you take?

Being inherently way more hardcore than the average Joe, sissy-pants-run-away-from-your-nightmares-type?

HA!

But I'de give this backup. Now that think about it, I haven't had a dream in a long time where I see the events from my own perspective, I allways see things from the side or whatever.

Had an example of this last night. Was dreaming pretty lucidly, started turning bad when I dreamt me and a friend were confronted by a couple of knife wielding moegoes. I was able to wrestle the weapons away from them in the dream, by making a conscious decision to fight back. Went from bad to worse though when the guy who was with me looked at me with horror on his face. In the struggle, I'd severed an artery and was bleeding out. Could actually feel it draining out, blood everywhere. At this point in the nightmare I realised it was dream, and forced myself awake before I, essentially, died.
Unpleasant to say the least. Needless to say it's been a... tiring day.

*edit* hmm, according to the dream dictionary :
To dream of bleeding, denotes death by horrible accidents and malicious
reports about you. Fortune will turn against you

Fabulous.

I've experienced lucid dreaming for most of my life, and assumed for years this was normal. I also frequently dream I'm someone else entirely, which is apparently very unusual.

What's also pretty weird is having dreams of course, when you're staring down at yourself watching what you do and you can't do anything to control it. Very strange o.o
