Screensavers

Besides being the carrier and deploy choice of malware, these things used to be the rage years ago. I had installed DisplayFusion and was going trough the options, when I stumbled upon the screensaver section.
I remember with Win 3 and later, we had that starfield simulation, just made the inner Trekkie inside me very happy. Later those pipes and 3D text.

But as the years has gone come and gone, I kind of forgot about them and mostly used the BLANK black as my screensaver.

Yet, this simple option in Displayfusion made me think back and do a couple of google searches for some good new screensavers. Anyone use them? Got some good (SFW) screensavers?

DisplayFusion supports a screensaver on each screen, now you can make you CPU scream even when its suppose to idle...

Dont get me started on Windows 98 PLUS! With new screensavers and themes with new sounds.

For some reason this reminded my of those screen savers you got, where your desktop stands still and a virtual lady appears and dances on your screen. oh good times. My Screen timeout was set to 5 seconds =D

I generally use Fliqlo - flip clock screensaver, or sometimes just default Bubbles or a Blank screen.

That looks pretty sweet. Not sure if Print Screen will catch it, but give that a shot and paste it into paint program of choice?

Bubbles...altho I used to have a 3d matrix from uselesscreations in my XP days...that thing was coooooool. you could program your own colors (instead of usual green matrix) and you could have it countdown to something.

In my grade 8 year we had windows 95/98 and from one pc we could access all the library's computer files. A mate and I installed her on all the PC's and then hid the file.
A week later we approached the IT head who was fuming and offered to try remove the young lady from the task bars (manga chick, not naked lady)in return for 15 Internet minutes per PC.
We used the time to download abandonware games and emulators which where free and sold them on stiffy discs.
