Selling of Comic Books

Good day all!

So I have been a collector now for going on 20 years, and it has been an amazing trip. Still going strong. However, there are titles from the new 52 that I need to get rid of. I have them all already in their more collectible sketch variants, so these are just going to be sitting there. I am looking to buy some original art, so I would like to try and sell them

Does anyone know of anyone who would be interested? As in stores, or collectors on the forum? I have put them up as a lot on BidorBuy, but South Africans think that a comic in 1980 is worth more than Batman #1 (2011) :/ The collection is valued at over R6500, but no one sees it as such, except the guys who have the same collection, and can't afford another. Multiple copies after release is hard to obtain due to price increases.

Titles are as follows:

Batman
Superman
Detective Comics
Action Comics
Justice League
Green Lantern

Any thoughts?
 
this is a niche market bud , and as I am sure you know these things need to be graded , I have personally made the switch to digital .
have you thought about splitting the collection .
 
Meh, don't mind splitting. Think I should sell each individually. Crazy photographing 120+ comics :) Oh well. See how it goes.

Grading......yeah, everyone thinks CGC is the be all and end all of comic book grading. But even they are wonky as hell sometimes. :) To be honest though, the most expensive one is R600. So CGC'ing something like that is pointless. The whole process will cost more than the comic.

All my comics are NM, (9.2+) so I have no worries for someone to have a personal look at it.

Do you know what prints they are?

I do know of Cosmic Comics in Blackheath who buy New52 comics at fair prices...
 
lol, I think South Africa is the only country where you lose money on comics. Unless you are a shop who rips off your customers *cough cough

All first prints. Actually bought from them and Smallville Comics.

Oh cool. Yeah, I know that Cosmic buys them back at fair prices. Give them a call.
