My cheque account is with Standard Bank while my new credit card is with FNB.
I am wondering how I would go about making a transfer to this card?
Basically I am following:
- Paying from a Standard Bank Account.
What is new "CDI"?
I went to add beneficiary. I went business, added the " FNB PRIVATE LABEL CA" - was nothing else. When using public it wont add, it says it cannot add a private type with the details I entered, so I had to use Business.
Anyways it accepted the beneficiary using my credit card account number as a reference.
I am just not 100% sure if this was correct.
Also the credit card number and account number are both 16 digits however different. hmm. (the last two digits are different)

Visit Standard Bank's website www.standardbank.co.za
Select 'add a new CDI'
You can then select a beneficiary name, in this case your FNB Credit Card
Type in a beneficiary reference number, which is your 16-digit FNB Credit Card number
If you have any questions, please call Standard Bank on 0860 123 000.
