So I thought this would be an interesting topic to talk about. In a nutshell just share your most memorable online experiences or even better - online experiences you found hilarious and still seem to chuckle to yourself when thinking about it to this day.

If you wanna, you can share rage experiences too :p
You can also share what you find most annoying when playing certain online games.. but let's keep it strictly memories/hilarity

I wanna hear all about it and perhaps empathize and share in the laughter..

I'll start:

DotA - I miss the trash talk that goes along with playing dota.. :p I find it hilarious most of the time the way people can rage about a simple game.. How they leave you to die in a gank or how I leave them. Also annoying when everyone goes windwalk and I have none :(

Diablo 2 - The pvp was funny as hell sometimes.. Getting pwned and then running back into the town just in time to not die. :p I also remember getting stuck in those narrow caves (can't remember which exactly) with my friends and everyone ran because shit got serious :p and we got blocked (each other/died..) especially with my damn necromancer friend spamming all those skeletons. :p Everyone for themselves!

CoD4 - Ah, my first online fps experience.. What annoyed me most were the campers and unbalanced teams..
Speific maps:
The Bog - Omf I hated this map with a passion. It was too dark. When you spawned behind that wall snipers in that damn bus/across the map always shot me. When you managed to pass safely and went pass that corrugated iron fencing someone was ALWAYS camping in that small corridor entrance to the shop. Basically pray and spray whoever was in there or a nade
Crossfire - This was funny as hell if you wanted to snipe as there was ALWAYS a sniper war with people in the building on top of the hill with people on the bottom of the hill. Also people lobbying random nades over that that wall at the start of the game.
Showdown - Constant battle for upstairs! Lol
Some people knew those maps too well -_- I was semi-noob I guess... wasn't really that dedicated to the game

Funniest memory - Day of defeat. One of the spawns on a popular map (Avalanche) has the allies running up a hill from their spawn, past their last flag. There is a small window overlooking this flag, and it was a popular spot for the axis to camp, and kill allies running from spawn. One way to deal with this was to prime a grenade and lob it through the window.

Now, DoD has wave-based spawns, so if you die, you wait for the next wave to respawn. One of my friends (person A) respawned as allies, waited a few seconds to head up the hill and started running. Seeing an axis soldier in the room, person A primed a grenade and was promptly shot by said axis soldier. Another friend (person B) had spawned as part of the next wave, in an advantageous location, and had sprinted up the hill, a second or two after person A. Person B had also primed a grenade. Person B ran over the nade dropped by person A, and died - in turn dropping his grenade. The whole remainder of the team then proceeded to run over this grenade and die.

Net result? 1 person shot by enemy, 9 teamies killed by friendly grenades. Person B was kicked off the server for excessive teamkills.

We were still all laughing about it, days afterwards :D

Sounds very funny. It's that much better to play an online game with friends :p

Battefield 3
Operation Métro
Locker Room Battle...

Tossed a grenade and I get 6 kills -- then I see my grenade had exploded an enemy's C4 or Claymore (forgot) - eliminating 6 players in the process.

Enemy killed
Enemy killed
Enemy killed
Enemy killed
Enemy killed
Enemy killed

My hilarious gaming experience....

Is is Splinter Cell Blacklist- When playing co-op, when you die sometimes, you fall through the floor and somehow end up in the sky ALIVE lol, and you can still chat to your partner and kill the enemies from the sky!!! Got to experience to appreciate the moment!

Sounds like you become a god lol.. Must be a legit game mechanic :p

I miss DoD... We used to rock it every Sunday evening, back when I had crap internet.

I would cook grenades and run at enemies on DoD and it always left hilarious results, because if you didn't kill yourself and them in the process, your grenade would drop and they will die anyway. So people would see me coming and make split second decisions to run or gun.
