Shark bites angler after being caught

An shark bit an angler in shallow water at De Mond, outside Struisbaai, the National Sea Rescue Institute said on Sunday.

Kobus Koeberg was taking part in a tag-and-release angling competition on Saturday morning when he got bitten, spokesman Craig Lambinon said in a statement.
