Consumers wanting great customer service should shop at reputable retailers who take service seriously, Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman (CGSO) Neville Melville said on Wednesday.

"Don't focus only on price, but also a company's reputation and resolving of complaints," he said in a statement.

Melville said consumers should read online reviews and do online searches to see whether companies had complaints against them.

price is probably the biggest factor for most people. then only quality of service. if we had unlimited funds it would have been other way round.

Well sometimes rather fork out that extra 50 or 100 than forking out 399 at some shady shop that u never heard of and waiting for your order and then realizing you have been scammed

Only time I buy from a shady shop is for cellphone headphones. I won't buy a good pair as they never last for me lol.
