Only recently bought a blu-ray player. Still need to buy the tv...right now I'm carrying my 23" pc screen around every time we feel like watching something...but mostly we end up watching on my pc, less trouble that way.

Yeah, that's still the biggest problem... Cinavia...

So this is only a problem with BluRay rips, so I try and avoid them. All TV is fine, just movies have this issue. So generally I try and get a good DVD rip, the PS3 does upscaling so it still looks better than 1080p content on a PC screen lots of the time (it's just smoother...).

If I get a BluRay rip that I cannot watch via PS3MS, I either watch the movie in my room or I fetch the external HDD and plug it straight into the TV.

I am still considering getting a media player to replace the PS3, just a small WD-type player.. Will also save my PS3's life by not having this run all the time when I am at home.
