Show your wheels.

Pretty sure this has been done before, but here we go. Show a pic of your everyday wheels. The ones you use to go to work with, to go buy some bread and milk, or what you use to go to school with.

Had mine for almost 5 years now and still love it to bits. Paid R60k at the time and now they for about R85k. So 2nd hand value would be decent, but doubt I would easily sell. Has just over 42000km.

my awesome little-big car. Got lot's of space inside and tinted windows so I can change comfortably for gym in the back seat. Thinking of putting a little black curtain in the middle to partition front and back off :D

Plassie

how exactly did you bring that R34 intot he country?

isnt it such a huge mission?

im keen for more info!

Hehe, I'm a huuuuuuuuge R34 Fan, best car ever made, and I know about the schleps to bring one in, as I wanted to bring one in myself. I know a place in Pretoria can get your R34 into the country, it's the place in picture, but registration is your baby. If they catch you on the road without papers they impound it and you'll never see your car again! It's expensive though due to taxing and import costs. A typical R34 in Japan / Aus will set you back around R450K, Vpsec II's and NuR's are more expensive. But with the import costs and taxes, the guy from the place pictured above told me if they had to sell the R34's they bring in for R750K they would just just break even :O.

I am currently, and honestly now hehe, busy deciding between an RX7 FD and a 1993 R32 GT-R. I have first dibs on 2 R32's from mates of mine, 1 in swaziland and one in Namibia, both Swaziland registered, Both just over 100K.
Rx7's you can pick up in Swazi for 100-150K if you know where to look, and they are SA Registrable as they are classified as collectors cars.

Im actually looking for a supra :)

There is a guy in PTA that has N/A (normal aspirated) Supras for sale fully SA registered. One for 65K and one for 85K. All you have to do is drop the motor get a 2JZGTE from engine den for 20K and you have a fully registered, Twin Turbo Supra for roughly 100k :)

Oh and tradecarview is basically my homepage :P :P

I drive one of these:

Awesome car. A huge step up from the old model and the driving feels much more like the Golfs than a Polo. The new polos are much more solid and a bit larger than the old ones. Really nice car. It's one of those cars you can drive the whole day without feeling tired.
